Membership is free and open worldwide to researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. Every application is read by a person, and there is no paid tier to upgrade to afterwards.
What membership includes
Four working groups
AI governance and the EU AI Act, frontier research, enterprise adoption, and AI literacy. Each pairs people who set AI policy with the people who ship AI systems.
The full compliance and toolkit library
Membership unlocks the gated sections: the consulting toolkit playbooks and the full case study library, including sources and implementation detail.
Reviewed by a person, free forever
No fee, no paid tier, no upgrade path. Every application is read by a human being rather than scored by a model.

We use what you submit to review your application and run the community. It is never sold or used for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. See the privacy notice.
Questions about joining
Is AI Hub Swiss membership free?
Yes. Membership costs nothing and there are no paid tiers, premium levels, or upgrade prompts. AIHub is a non-profit, information-only platform with no advertising and no paid placement. The application form does include an optional box to offer a voluntary contribution towards running costs, but it is entirely optional, it is not a fee, and it has no bearing on whether your application is approved.
Can I contribute financially, and does it affect my application?
You can offer a voluntary contribution when you apply, and it makes no difference to your application. Contributions cover running costs for a non-profit; they are not a membership fee and reviewers are not influenced by them. Nothing is charged on this site and no card details are collected here: if you offer an amount, we email you a secure payment link afterwards, and you are free to ignore it. Your membership is unaffected either way.
Who can join the AI practitioner community?
Researchers, engineers and technology practitioners, entrepreneurs and founders, and policymakers and governance professionals. Membership is open worldwide, not only to people in Switzerland, and there is no seniority requirement: what matters is that you work with AI or on the rules that govern it.
What happens after I apply for membership?
A person reads every application. Nothing is automated, and no AI system scores or ranks applicants. You will receive an email when your application has been reviewed. Applications sit in a pending state until then, and you can check status by returning to this page.

What personal data do you collect when I join?
The application form asks for your name and email, and optionally your organisation, job title, seniority, country, city, LinkedIn or website, areas of interest, and a short note about your background. Only name and email are required. The data is used to review your application and to run the community; it is never sold or used for advertising. The privacy notice sets out your rights, including erasure.
